American Soundtrack: "Rock 50 - The First Decade"

A musical montage of doo wop, pop, and rock premieres in Pittsburgh on September 17 at 8 p.m. on WQED tv13 as WQED Multimedia presents the 12th installment of the American Soundtrack series called “Rock 50 - The First Decade.”

The show, taped in Pittsburgh at the Benedum Center in May 2003, features Gary Puckett of the 60’s rock band Gary Puckett and the Union Gap and Jerry Butler, as hosts.

Puckett is part of a star-studded cast of artists who helped to make what some call “the first decade of rock” a piece of American history. Featured in “Rock 50 - The First Decade:"
