Heathergems "Luckenbooth" pendant, $35.

A British Accent. Find a badge or pin with your clan's name (there's a long list of names available), plus other jewellery (the UK spelling), British tea biscuits and candy, music, clothing and other items from the British Isles through this Haysville retailer.

Carabella. Drop some hints for the Peter England or Essendi sweater you want by setting up a "wish list" at this Oakmont women's shop. Besides the large array of sweaters, check out the suede skirt, accessories and jackets.

The Frog N' Princess. Wouldn't the baby look adorable in an iridescent velvet dress, or her sister in organza? How about sparkly jeans, a girl's knit "Red Riding Hood" sweater/pants set and matching boy's knit "Big Bad Wolf" sweater/corduroy pants set. The Peters Township shop specializes in well-dressed kids. Gift-wrap available for $3.

Full Moon Rising. Find comfortable women's clothing and accessories from Carter Smith, Marrika Nakk, Kirkwood and others. A directory with goddesses (Athena, Diana, Freya, Gaia, Isis and Tara) allows you to hone your selections based on women's body types. Visa and MasterCard only.

Celtic love cross from the Wild Goose Studio, $29.50.

Irish Design Center. Pretty much everything is imported from Ireland or Scotland: hand-knit sweater, woven throws, Celtic rings, books and more. Most items from the Oakland store can be found online.

Small pre-Colombian painted vase from Peru, $14.95.

Sheba Imports. Find handicrafts from all over the world, like a pre-Columbian painted vase from Nicaragua or a tigereye/coiled metal necklace from Kenya at this Richland store. Items will be shipped within two days of order. Visa and MasterCard only.

Albert Elovitz Inc. Looking for stars-and-stripes boxer shorts to strike that tasteful note for the holidays? Or would you rather have those notes on a sheet-music-motif silk robe? The Strip District wholesaler sells online to registered retail customers: besides clothing, select housewares, jewelry, stationery -- more than 9,000 items. Stash your favorites in a "treasure chest" (wish list). On a budget? The search engine helps you find items by category in your price range.

"Eyes" switchplate, $9.95.

Andy Warhol Museum. Do the soup-can boxer shorts go with the Rorschach T-shirt? Stretch the limits with stationery, videos, posters and more from Pittsburgh's bad-boy artist and the North Side museum that loves him (who on my list gets the book on Joe Dallesandro?). Carnegie Museum members receive a 10 percent discount on all products, and custom framing is available for posters and photographs. Allow two weeks for delivery on unframed items, and three to four on framed items.

Duquesne Dukes. Select from a variety of shirts and golfing accessories.

Smiley magnet, $1.99.

Eat'n Park. Follow the links to the online store for a Very Berry T-shirt, Mario Lemieux glasses, or Smiley Cookie watch -- indeed, a veritable trove of Smiley Cookie paraphernalia, but not the actual cookies. The closest thing to an edible is the restaurant's signature coffee. All products shipped through UPS.

Heinz. For the sloppy eater who always ends up "wearing" ketchup: Follow the Shop Heinz link from the home page to Heinz Stuff for ketchup socks, ties, T-shirts and more, including a ketchup Gumby figurine and a pickle golf putter (right- or left-handed). The Starkist Tuna Shop link leads to cuddly plush tunas and more caps and T-shirts. Heinz Baby Basics takes you to Canada and toys, tableware and accessories for the diaper set (orders are placed on line but finished by phone). For actual Heinz food (what a concept), the Heinz Direct UK page offers British-style baked beans, salad cream, puddings and other UK canned goods for shipment to most corners of the world.

Jones Brewing Co. No, you can't order a beer online (hey, this is Pennsylvania), but you can select a Stoney's Beer sweatshirt, embroidered ball cap or ceramic salt-n-pepper shakers from the Smithton-based brewery.

Pitt Panthers. Remember Pitt Stadium with a commemorative T-shirt, or just outfit the family in caps, jerseys and other gear for the Oakland cats.

Retro logo mixing glass set, $15.00 (beer not included).

Pittsburgh Brewing Co. Now doesn't your game room need a Bill Mazeroski-autographed/ Forbes Field/ Iron City clock? No beer here, of course, but you can find Pittsburgh Brewing and Iron City Beer T-shirts, caps, mugs and glassware, including a matched shot-n-a-beer set for yinz. Special shipping and handling fees on most glass products.

Pens replica road jersey, $84.99.

Pittsburgh Penguins. Get a chocolate puck, a Mario Lemieux bronze or silver coin, or a Penguins jersey with your name on it, Penguin chairs and clocks, and an assortment of real hockey gear. Gift certificates and wrapping available.

Pittsburgh Pirates. Rewatch Bob Robertson's "bunt" in the 1971 World Series over and over on video, get a Roberto Clemente street sign, 1960 World Series plaque, a Bill Mazeroski-autographed bat and a variety of jerseys, hats, bats, balls and baubles. The site is slow, but the selection is huge.

Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Outfit the soccer fans in your life, from 6-month-olds in rompers to XXL adults in shirts, pants and scarves. Also purchase a season-tickets package, pennants, lapel pins or bumper stickers from Pittsburgh's USL soccer team. Allow two to three weeks for delivery on all orders.

Child's Pittsburgh Steelers 5-piece dinner set, $16.95.

Pittsburgh Steelers. Clothe every man, woman and child in the family in Steelers sweaters, ties, hats, scarves, jewelry, etc., plus the car, the pooch (Steelers leashes) and pretty much every room in the house, from Terrible Towel towels and nontowels to glassware, car doodads, aprons, light switchplates, framed Three Rivers lithographs and a fishing lure (no, you can't catch the Dolphins with it). Framed items may take up to two to three weeks. Visa and MasterCard only.

Bath, Body & More Sporting Goods

Eckerd. If you can't get to the drug store, the drug store can come to you: cosmetics, nutritional supplements and candy, baby-care products and household goods on this huge and rather cumbersome site. Free shipping for orders more than $30 (not counting prescriptions). Orders processed before 1 p.m. ship the same day via UPS.

Kaufmann's. No, it's not the whole downtown department store online, but a selection of fragrances, personal spa products, home accessories, jewelry, luggage, toys and more from the May department stores. Huge array, but not searchable. Gift-wrap available for under $5. Kaufmann's and all major credit cards accepted.

Philip Pelusi Hair Salons. The South Side's hair aficionado shares his own Phyto-Life brand of products online: shampoos and conditioners for all hair types, skin-repair kits and cosmetics. All products are biodegradable, ozone-friendly, and were not tested on animals.

Wild Violets & Thyme. Find massage oils, bath salts, skin-care products, shower gels, fragrances and more at this McKeesport-based store. Your order will be filled and sent via U.S. mail within a day. Back orders usually take less than seven working days.

NHL Original Six Monopoly, $34.95.

Arena Hockey. Besides serious equipment, clothing and gear for skaters (hockey, figure and in-line), check out some fun stuff at this Bethel Park business (formerly Rupp's), like a board game using a penny as a hockey puck, and an NHL version of Monopoly. Equipment reviews available on site. Shipping is $8 regardless of dollar value or weight shipped in continental U.S.

Cutlery Plus. For real cut-ups: hunters, knife collectors, cooks and people just interested in keeping sharp can find a wide selection of cutlery, from pocket to military and police knives. The all-in-one pocket tools may fascinate even couch potatoes. (There may be certain legal questions with some knives, swords, etc.; check with your local authorities or stick to figurines, electric shavers and those tools.) Not all of the items from the Monroeville-based store are displayed, but most can be purchased by request.

Bloomingbags "Colonial" golf bag, $250.

Fit To A Tee Inc. It's an easy putt for women golfers, who do get completely outfitted at this Oakmont location -- from socks and shoes to shirts and shorts, plus golf bags and socks. Free shipping on orders of $100 or more.
