Pinskers Judaica. Since 1954, the Squirrel Hill store has been a leading resource for books on Jewish thought and religion. The nation's longest established website for Jewish books also offers a virtual superstore of Judaica: CDs, software, toys, tableware, jewelry, mitzvahware and more. Check out the new line of patriotic USA Judaica.

Rochelle Blumenfeld. The Highland Park artist sells signed limited-edition lithographs of her series of holiday and Shabbat paintings, as well as dance and other secular subjects. Also ask about commissions.

Mystery Lovers Book Shop. Find out whodunnit with a search engine that can help you find your favorite author, title or series character, not to mention a range of Pittsburgh mystery writers from Mary Roberts Rinehart to Tom Lipinski. The Oakmont landmark also stocks mystery-theme games, Harry Potter everything, and other nonmystery books and gifts. A $5 membership in Masters of Mystery saves you 10 to 20 percent, and there's free shipping on purchases over $25.

River City Brass Band. Yes, you can buy the cassettes and CDs by this 20-year-old ensemble, including the latest, All-American, and 1993's Pittsburgh on Parade, featuring music by local composers, at rcbb.com Sen. John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center: Want a poster of the "ghost bomber" B-25 (the mystery plane in the Mon) for your very own? The History Center's shop sells the poster and some of its own publications online.

"Rise Into Christmas" Hummel figurine, $495.

Hummel Gift Shop. Besides the porcelain figurines inspired by the paintings of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel at this New Springfield, Ohio, store, you can also shop for Cherished Teddies, Precious Moments, Christopher Radko, Lilliput Lane Cottages and many other lines. If you don't see the line you're interested in, ask anyway -- not everything is listed online.

Morini. Serious doll collectors can explore six of its doll collections: hand-made Italian porcelain dolls with silk clothing and dyed-to-match laces. Also look for Christmas paraphernalia, figurines and other items from this Station Square shop.

Pittsburgh Symphony Store. Looking for the sound of Pittsburgh? Besides pretty much every CD in print of the PSO, you can also find recordings of the River City Brass Band, Chatham Baroque, the Bach Choir, Dear Friends, Joe Negri and other local classical, traditional and jazz artists. There's also a range of other classical, jazz and world music, as well as arts-oriented books, videos, clothing and gifts. Gift-wrapping available for no charge.
