Embrace color and use it unconditionally throughout your abode. Go as far as an accent wall (three walls in my dining room are painted a rich pomegranate with the fourth wall painted creamy wheat) or keep your paint palette simpler (see pages 14-15) and strike it hot with accessories and furniture. Keep in mind a little color can go a long way; it's a work-in-progress. Build on the love of your favorite hue; if it's meant to permeate your home it will keep popping up in - "look-what-I-found-it-goes-perfect-against-my-pomegranate-walls" - ways. Here are a few product ideas that can pack a punch of color where you dwell.
