I have enjoyed many meals at Eleven. I went there for lunch recently. The Eleven burger was perfection, it consisted of Angus beef, veal, house-made bacon, and topped with white cheddar cheese.
I can not wait to go back and try some of the other sandwiches…soft-shell crab, crab-cake and lobster roll.
Eleven burger was perfection

Well, I’m glad you had a good experience at Eleven. That makes one of us. I recently made my second trip to Eleven for a special birthday dinner, and had a terrible meal. Not just bad – terrible. While the salad was decent, my main course (halibut) was so overcooked I couldn’t even chew it. My mom’s pork was also overcooked, and my dad’s sea bass was fine, but not great. Though the halibut was taken off the check, there was very little in the way of an apology from our waiter. When I go to a restaurant with Eleven’s reputation (and costing what Eleven does!), I exepect to be nothing short of amazed. Safe to say, I will not be returning to Eleven any time soon. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants in Pittsburgh without the high price tag and pretentiousness of Eleven where I can find better food!
