Butler County Community College (BC3) has 3,671 credit students and offers more than 60 associate degree, career and transfer programs in liberal arts, business, nursing and allied health and technology. Programs include metrology, parks and recreation management, massage therapy, electronics, nanofabrication, manufacturing and the new robotics technology program starting fall 2009. Main campus is located on 323 wooded acres with an oak grove, meadows and walking trails. The college also has campuses in Cranberry, LindenPointe in Mercer County and Lawrence Crossing in Lawrence County. In addition to day, evening and weekend classes, the college offers more than 100 online courses.

More than 40 programs of study allow students the opportunity to earn associate degrees, certificates and diplomas in such areas as aviation, healthcare, technologies, business, education, criminal justice and liberal arts. Non-credit personal enrichment courses and customized job training for businesses are also available.
CCBC counts approximately 10,000 enrollments annually in its credit and non-credit programs. Tuition rate: $86.50 per credit for Beaver County residents. CCBC's $26 million renovation project is scheduled for completion in 2010, and will provide state-of-the-art educational facilities to students.

Four-building campus in Youngwood, located approximately 25 miles east of Pittsburgh; education centers in Westmoreland, Fayette, Greene and Indiana counties offering credit transfer and career preparation programs. Public Safety Training Center. 6,400 undergrads. Workforce development training, continuing education classes for personal enrichment and cultural programming are also available.
