Col. Merle Addams
Since 1978, COL. MERLE ADDAMS has served as president of the POLISH CULTURAL COUNCIL, helping showcase the finest Polish artists and scientists to the audiences of western Pennsylvania. He is a dedicated leader, organizer, and fundraiser. He has been a creative force behind the Central Council of Polish Organizations and his "lets do it" approach always leads to a well-planned action. For his commitment and enthusiasm we honor Col. Merle Addams with a 2005 Dominion Vita Award.

Susan Phillips
SUSAN PHILLIPS
and the COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF GREENE COUNTY have been instrumental in providing area students access to submit artworks and writings for publication, exhibition and competition. Susan played a pivotal role in forming a Steering Committee to establish a new regional chapter of Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards (SAWA). SAWA enables students to advance to national competitions to be judged alongside works from 90 regions representing all parts of the country. For opening up a world of opportunity we honor Susan Phillips with a 2005 Dominion Vita Award.

Meg RauthOver the past 16 years, MEG RAUTH and CREATIVITY UNLIMITED IN PENNSYLVANIA have presented and organized Odyssey of the Mind, an international problem-solving program to students in our area. Teams of students spend months solving one of five problems each year. Problem solutions range from writing and acting to building sets and composing music. Meg has taken on many roles from trainer of coaches and judges to tournament official. For all her hard work and dedication, we honor her with a 2005 Dominion Vita Award.

W. Keith SmithFor creating and chairing a very successful endowment campaign, W. KEITH SMITH has helped the RIVER CITY BRASS BAND remain one of the region's musical gems and leading exporters of American music culture. Mr. Smith led a campaign to build an endowment for the River City Brass Band, which resulted in $3.1 million in pledges. For his industry and willingness to share a wealth opportunities and resources, we honor W. Keith Smith with a 2005 Dominion Vita Award.
