WQED Multimedia’s strength lies in its vision of the full integration of its multimedia capabilities that include television, radio, publishing and the web. The name change from WQED Pittsburgh to WQED Multimedia reflects the progress that has been made in integrating different divisions into a seamless company that utilizes and cross promotes all different media.

WQED Multimedia will take advantage of new technologies, including digital television broadcasting, the web and educational instruction.
