Musical Memories for the High Holidays

Following the success of his program dedicated to music for Passover, legendary violinist Itzhak Perlman guides us through the traditions of the Jewish High Holidays, sharing music, personal recollections, and even a recipe or two.  His musical tastes cover a wide spectrum from cantorial to classical to klezmer; his voice and stories are uniquely welcoming to all listeners.

Exploring Music with Bill McGlaughlin

This week, we’ll explore the world of musical duos -- two voices making music in concert and counterpoint in works by Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.  We’ll also savor the great love duets of Verdi, Puccini and Wagner.

10:00pm

Elena See, Bob Christiansen, Scott Blankenship, Ward Jacobson
