Johann Strauss, Jr.:  Die Fledermaus.  Jeremy Sams returns to the Met to direct this new production of Strauss’ beloved operatic confection, with a revised libretto by acclaimed playwright Douglas Carter Beane.  Sams places the action in turn-of-the-century Vienna.  Susanna Phillips and Christopher Maltman lead the sparkling cast.  Adam Fischer conducts.
