Yan Pascal Tortelier conducts a program of music from early 20th-century Russia with the young Russian piano virtuoso, and winner of the 2011 International Tchaikovsky Competition, Daniil Trifonov featured in Prokofiev's tumultuous Piano Concerto #2.  The program also presents Sergei Rachmaninoff‘s passionate and sweeping Symphony #2.  Jim Cunningham hosts our broadcast.
