Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures presents a Literary Evening with Emily St. John Mandel. Mandel's poetic post-technology Station Eleven follows a troupe of Shakespearean actors as they tour an America ravaged a generation earlier by a global flu pandemic. All four of her novels were Indie Next Picks, and The Singer’s Gun was the 2014 winner of the Prix Mystere de la Critique in France.Squirrel Hill’s local independent bookstore Classic Lines Books & More will be selling copies of Mandel’s books before and after her lecture.
