It's 1737. Georg Philipp Telemann has come to Paris to party and play with the city's most eminent musicians - Blavet, Guignon, Forqueray, Edouard, etc. In 2014, Baroque flutist Stephen Schultz and harpsichordist Adam Pearl join Chatham Baroque in the celebrated pieces Telemann wrote for the occasion - the Paris Quartets. Messrs. Muffat, Boismortier, and Couperin might just pop in.

In 1664, Louis XIV began transforming a humble hunting lodge into the most magnificent palace Europe has ever known: Versailles.
