Attack Theatre's new choreography represents combat scenes described in the text. The vocal ensemble Ping performs the madrigals, with solos from Grammy Award-winning tenor Aaron Sheehan. This "mini-opera" from the eighth book of madrigals is based on poetry by Torquato Tasso and includes a dramatic love story set against the East-West conflict of the First Crusade.
