Timothy D. Brookins is a senior at Schenley High School. In addition to his involvement with the track team, math league, and chemistry Olympics, he divides his free time between volunteering at the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and performing with the Schenley African Drumming and Dance Ensemble. Timothy plans to major in mechanical engineering so he can further explore his passion for math and science. Congratulations to Timothy D. Brookins, one of this year's Duquesne Light Scholarship Winners.

As a senior at Clairton High School, Ivory James is involved in both school-based and community activities, which include her high school's varsity basketball team and her neighborhood YouthPlaces step team. She exhibits leadership skills as the senior class vice-president, and academic excellence as a member of the National Honor Society. Ivory plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a pediatrician. Congratulations to Ivory James, one of this year's Duquesne Light Scholarship Winners.

Shameia Josey is a senior at Aliquippa High School, in addition to holding a part time job at a local Eat N' Park restaurant, she is involved in several school-based activities which include Student Council, The National Honor Society, and DECA. As a volunteer with The Ladle, Shameia provides food and clothing to the homeless and is interested in opening a soup kitchen. Her future aspirations include obtaining a college degree and pursuing a career as an entrepreneur. Congratulations to Shameia Josey, one of this year's Duquesne Light Scholarship Winners.

As a senior at Beaver Falls High School, TeOnna Ross is involved in several school-based activities which include the marching band and the drama club where she utilizes her creativity and public speaking skills. TeOnna has a passion for helping others and demonstrates this by serving as a Candy Striper in the maternity ward at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Her future plans include becoming a psychiatrist and managing a Women's Shelter. Congratulations to TeOnna Ross, one of this year's Duquesne Light Scholarship Winners.
