Gulf Tower Fledgling Visits Liberty Center

@PondLadyDi had a visitor outside her office this afternoon! Here are two tweets I received with pictures of one of the Gulf Tower fledglings.

Liberty Center, at 1001 Liberty Avenue, is almost due north of the Gulf Tower with a clear view of the nest.

He looks as if he landed in a puddle but he was able to navigate and leave the railing.

  1. Thanks DSchaub for your timely photo op. You obviously are always prepared.
It is amazing how different the fledging looks just 10 days after banding. I have never followed the Falcons this closely but with all birders at the ready we can all see these dramatic changes right in our living rooms. Can’t get out as much to catch action in person. I know it takes a great deal of time to get these photos/videos and accounts of these birds behavior.
    Thank you so much.
