Things Are Getting Back to Normal

In this morning’s blog I mentioned that Dorothy was still brooding the dead chick but that E2 would eventually take it away for disposal.

Today at 4:00pm he did just that.   E2 distracted Dorothy by bringing supper for Baby so she left the nest to prepare the meal.

In three minutes Dorothy returned with the very large meal.

Baby seems to be saying, “Is all that for ME?”

So cute!

    1. An impromptu name, Anne Marie. He/she is, after all, The Baby… It’s a name he won’t use when he grows up. 😉

  1. Watching Dorothy brood the dead chick was difficult to watch – like a wonderful good mother, she was still hopeful. Thank you E2 for helping to bring things back to normal.

  2. Baby is going to be so spoiled like Beauty’s single chick Orion was last year. I hope Beauty’s 4 eggs all hatch!
