Nature has been taking it on the chin for a long time,and it looks like the trend will continue. I believe it will require universal awareness of a planet-wide crisis to overcome greed and ignorance.Then, it may be too late. We, the minority,need to be relentless, in word and action, in an attempt to reverse the slide. Meanwhile,one has to wonder about which present marvels of nature will be unknown to future generations.
