Maybe the leopard is saving them for its next meal. I just read about the ant nest where the associate rock flipper started naming the “rooms” of the colony. So this must be the leopard’s kitchen…

Your leopard is so cool. Maybe those other crickets are his next meal and you caught it after it’d just eaten. The shell bit I would have never guessed about.

The crickets look like immature ones … the grubs look like woodlice (roly poly, pill bug, potato bug etc
