Josh is right.
Charlie saw the ducks with their heads up &amp; identified them as Northern Shovelers.

I guessed Northern Shoveler based on the male&#039;s botTom (front left), but the females (the two in the back) look enough like mallards that they could be.  The real mystery is the front right bird.  I wonder if that&#039;s what an immature male looks like...   ?]]></description>
