It assumed that if planet earth is the center of God’s affection and attention that it must also be the physical center of the universe too. The bible says nothing about the earth being the center of the universe but does speak of it being the center of God’s affection. The church at the time created the center of the universe idea for who knows what reason.

On another note, will we ever discover another planet similar to earth? I have my doubts. Folks, in the time we have left, let us simply enjoy and discover the abundant nature infront of us everyday.
