Kate - Any word on Yellow girl? I may have missed your report on her. Hope all turned out well for her. I echo most of the comments, thanks for a great season, I've learned so much. Have made falcon watcher out of some of my co-workers. Can't wait for next year. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to actually spot them flying around town.

I think it is great that you humans who live & work in Oakland get to enjoy the lingering views of the juveniles before they probably leave at some time before end of Summer. We have had an extraordinary nest experience this year. With 5 at each site, the new sites, two wives at Gulf, accidents & deaths & injuries. So the fact that you "people" get to keep seeing them IS JUST DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!

I so enjoyed the day I came & met so many & shared our love of the falcons. It has been a wonderful enjoyable experience & I know my life has been enriched by the experiences & the sharing the mostly the caring & in my heart I know we are all good people who care about our world & the people & all the living creatures in it and will always all do our best to keep it that way. Thanks to you Kate you have really been our guide post and we really respect & admire what you do. Glad you are able to continue the visibility of these marvelous birds.

One juvenile was eating near the very top of St. Paul's right-hand steeple. (Sorry, you could have seen it.) The other three were roosting at the Cathderal of Learning on the east side.

News of the Pitt peregrines: Today (July 12) Karen Lang and I saw 4 peregrines near campus. We're sure that two of the four were juveniles -- possibly three of the four. Any day with a peregrine in it is a good day.
