We have several bunnies in our yard too, more than previous years. All our flower tops have been eaten but since we have a small fence around the garden they can’t get in. My husband fussed so I bought some silk flowers (not garish ones) and it looks good. We also have groundhogs who come to our feeder so it’s useless to try to grow flowers….oh yes, they love hostas.

I noticed my Flower tops missing too. In my neighborhood, we noticed alot of baby rabbits in our yards. Unfortunately, I paid attention to vegetable garden activity and not flower bed until it was too late. Flower tops gone!

One of the things I have missed since moving to Pittsburgh is the massive amounts of bunnies I grew up with in IL. My mother, however, would like to kill them all since they eat EVERYTHING in her garden, including her prize roses. I keep trying to convince her to just put up some chicken wire, but …

I too had a bunny explosion in my yard this year. It was most noticeable in the spring when several baby rabbits made quick work of the tender shoots that were just coming up. My garden has never looked so ragged. Also, I saw a rabbit playing the other day – very cute.
