Signs of Spring: Flowering Trees

This week the ornamental trees started to bloom.  On Monday they were tentative, flowering only in sheltered places, but yesterday afternoon was warm and sunny and they took on a lacy look.  And what a blue sky!

Not today.  It’s pouring and dark.  A raindrop is poised on the Pitt peregrine webcam cover like a little cloud.

  1. I just trimmed my own Bradford Pear tree yesterday and saved some twigs in bloom for a big glass vase before the rain and wind came!

You often walk past my house in Oakland and I’ve often said hi too you as I see you always on the look out for birds.

But anyway I just wanted to tell you I’ve put your link on my page so it can be discovered by more people!

Thanks for all the interesting post!
