		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m happy that you posted about sharpies, Kate.  By the way, thank you so much for everything you write about in your blog; I&#039;ve learned so much by reading it every day.  

Yesterday, while I was out looking for migrant songbirds, a hawk landed on a branch very close to where I was standing.  I knew it was either a Cooper&#039;s or a sharpie.  As I moved to try to get a better look, a blue jay attacked the hawk and it flew away, so I was unable to get a good look.  I did notice the hawk was close in size to the blue jay, perhaps a bit larger.  The hawk was silent the whole time, so I couldn&#039;t use voice to identify it.  I assumed it was a Coop, because that is what I ususally hear and see in my neighborhood, but now that you have mentioned that sharpies are on the move, I have reconsidered.  Perhaps it was a sharpie, something I rarely see!]]></description>
