Thanks for sharing a beautiful place with us, Kate. My husband and I vacationed on Acadia twice many years ago, and loved all of the island, including Bar Harbor, drove up Cadillac Mt. and walked around there and many other areas -- I remember watching otters and a whale, going on a lobster trap "tour", eating good food, and a few interesting places can't recall names of -- one place there was a small cliff with large rocks hanging out over the water, an interesting bay, etc. I wasn't a birder then, just enjoyed nature and the outdoors so much, but now I realize how much I missed given the diverse habitat there. Enjoy!!!
