After reading your post, I looked it up in wikipedia to find that it is a novel that I must read: In a way the differences in temperament between these two sisters is sort of like a contrast found today between the two major political parties of our country :) Thanks for the idea. However, I have heard just about every work by Beethoven, and I too share a love of classical music and birding. Not a bad combination!!
