The peregrines at University of Pittsburgh don't need to migrate because they have enough to eat here all winter (pigeons). Also, if they migrated they could lose their territory and it would be hard to win it back. I'll write more about peregrines in the days ahead.

Hi, Kate.

Isn't mid-November late in the season for peregrines? I thought that, per their name, they peringrinated to warmer climes for the winter.

Congrats on the blog.
