Mahler Symphony No. 9
Mahler's monumental Ninth, his last completed symphony, is interpreted by many to be the composer's farewell statement. He finished the Ninth while ill health and personal tragedy swirled around him. These concerts continue Maestro Honeck's commitment to perform and record all of Mahler's symphonies at Heinz Hall.

Resonance Works | Pittsburgh presents Natural Frequency, celebrating the natural world and musical innovation with Debussy's Prelude to The Afternoon of a Faun, Barber's Dover Beach, Copland's Appalachian Spring, and Pittsburgh composer Nancy Galbraith's Four Nature Canticles with projected images by photographer Chuck Beard.
