French Music for Harp and Strings
Violinist Dawn Posey and harpist Nuiko Wadden (members of the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra) will present a program of French music including works by Jacques Ibert, Andre Caplet, Maurice Ravel and the premiere of a new duo by Pittsburgh composer Mark Fromm. Guest artists: Katie Pierson, violin; Marylene Gingras Roy, viola; and Katya Janpoladyan, cello. Suggested donation: $10.

Chatham Baroque's Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions are designed for preschool children and their accompanying adults. Based on a model developed by the Linton Chamber Music Series in Cincinnati, PB&J is hosted by certified Kindermusik teacher Lynda Wingerd, and encourages young children to become active and enthusiastic listeners through music, dance and games.
