Chamber Music @ CMU
Faculty members David Harding, viola, and Noah Bendix-Balgley (PSO Concertmaster) are joined by guests Lorna McGhee (Principal Flute, PSO) and renowned cellist Amit Peled in chamber music by Mozart and Bach. The concert is dedicated to the memory of Toby Saks, founder and artistic director of the Seattle Chamber Music Society. Free, but advance tickets are required.

Bellini's Norma
Norma: A fiery love triangle set in the mysterious, mythical world of the ancient Druids. Norma has broken her vow of chastity for the love of a Roman soldier, Pollione. When Pollione abandons her for another druid priestess, Adalgisa, Norma swears revenge on the pair. But something proves stronger than revenge, bringing this classic opera to an unbelievable end.

Poinsettias and Pointe Shoes
Phipps Conservatory and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre bring the magic of The Nutcracker ballet to Phipps’ historic glasshouse in Oakland. Performed by a cast of pre-professional students from the PBT School, these vignettes from Terrence Orr's The Nutcracker, including the Sugarplum Pas de Deux, will showcase the next generation of professional dancers, many of whom will soon perform on the Benedum stage with the PBT company.

The New Collective, an All-Guild Exhibition
This juried exhibit features works by the Craftsmen's Guild of Pittsburgh, Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh, Group A, Pittsburgh Print Group, Pittsburgh Society of Artists, Society of Sculptors, and Women of Visions, Inc. The exhibition coincides with the PCA's annual Holiday Shop, with extended shop and gallery hours.
