Murphy/Smith Dance Collective - Sound Project
Murphy/Smith Dance Collective, formed in 2011 by Pittsburgh-based choreographers Jamie Erin Murphy and Renee Danielle Smith, explores the relationship between sound and human instinct. Sound Project illuminates how our everyday life sounds around us create environment, a source of communication and even our general feeling of safety. So what can happen when our familiar soundscape becomes distorted or even disappears?
Coordinated by Robert Mickelsen, a Florida-based glass artist, "Lifeforms" is inspired by Rudolf and Leopold Blaschka's glass biological models made in the 19th and 20th centuries for Harvard University. The PGC exhibition includes more than 50 contemporary flameworked models, cast impressions, blown renditions, and an actual fish cast in glass.

Tales of Hoffmann - Retold
Hoffmann is obsessed with three beautiful women—or is it one mercurial woman, split into three different personalities? The great story of E.T.A. Hoffmann's love life is retold in a new version incorporating some of the poet-composer’s own music. International star Robert Chafin (Covent Garden, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Wiener Staatsoper) plays Hoffmann.
