East Winds Symphonic Band
Based in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh, the East Winds Symphonic Band performs a variety of music arranged for concert band, including symphonies, marches and popular melodies. Bellini's Norma
Bellini's Norma, including the infamously difficult soprano aria "Casta Diva," is considered the apex of the bel canto operatic style. The titular high priestess is filled with treasonous desire for a Roman soldier, forcing her to choose between duty and love.
