Previn, Haydn, and Mendelssohnís "Italian"
Former PSO Music Director André Previn (1976-1984) gives the premiere of his own Triple Concerto for Trumpet, Horn and Tuba featuring three principals from the PSO brass section. The Grammy, Oscar and Kennedy Center Honoree also conducts Haydn's Symphony #102 “Miracle” and Mendelssohn's vibrant “Italian” Symphony.

Masterworks III: Piano Forte with Biegel and Zwilich
Featuring piano soloist Jeffrey Biegel, André Raphel conducts "Shadows," a co-commissioned work by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Ellen Taaffe Zwilich that reflects the migration of the human spirit.
