Turtle Island Quartet with Mike Marshall The Turtle Island Quartet - best known for its fusion of classical technique with the American music traditions of jazz, rock, bluegrass, and folk, as well as the traditional ethnic musics of other nationalities - makes its PCMS debut with mandolinist Mike Marshall in "Solstice Celebration," a program featuring music of the solstice season from each of the performers' ancestral heritages.
