Honeck & Waltz Traditions
PSO Music Director Manfred Honeck and internationally-acclaimed pianist Leif Ove Andsnes interpret Beethoven's dazzling Piano Concerto #1, the concerto with which young Beethoven introduced himself to Vienna as both composer and pianist. And, Maestro Honeck continues his Thanksgiving tradition of crowd-pleasing waltzes by the Strauss family.

Latin American Fiesta
Composers from South America are featured in this all-quintet parlor concert. The colorful melodies and urgent rhythms give this music a flavor all its own! Music by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Julio Medaglia, Gnattali Radames, and a world premiere by Efrain Amaya titled "New York."

This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing
David Peterson brings Kruckemeyer's enchanting script to life onstage through shadow puppetry, immersive staging, and a strong ensemble of storytellers. Winner of the 2010 Rodney Seaborn Award, this English-language premiere is a contemporary fairy tale about three sisters, abandoned in the forest and forced to find their own way in the world. One goes left, one goes right, and one stays right where she started.
