Internationally-renowned Verdi mezzo-soprano Marianne Cornetti returns to her Pittsburgh roots for SummerFest's special opening concert. In addition to the performance, you can opt for tickets to a festive dinner and/or a post-concert reception with Ms. Cornetti and the SummerFest artists.

Kevin Noe directs a new music journey through life as represented by Iannis Xenakis: Rebonds (A); Kevin Puts: Living Frescoes; Iannis Xenakis: Rebonds (B); Martin Bresnick: The Lost Traveler; and Vinko Globokar: ?Corporel.
The exhibition evaluates the lives of objects, exploring what it is they radiate through their beings, their material evidence of history, and the miracle of their discovery.
The crawl showcases a wide variety of thought-provoking art exhibitions. Live bands, DJs, dance, comedy, film, and participatory activities are also part of the complimentary crawl events. The Merry Widow
Since its premiere in Vienna in 1905, Franz Lehar's classic has been delighting audiences with its charming melodies and lavish party scenes. The libretto, by Viktor Leon and Leo Stein, follows Hanna, a rich widow, and her countrymen's attempt to keep her money in the principality by finding her the right husband. WQED-FM's Anna Singer returns for a third time as Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow.
