Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration
A new symphonic project celebrating rock icon Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead. This orchestral adventure features Garcia's original compositions as well as classic interpretations of timeless standards that were hallmarks of Garcia's shows. Renowned vocalist/guitarist Warren Haynes collaborates with the PSO, lending his soul-soaked, introspective blend of rock, blues, R&B and jazz to Garcia's masterworks.

Fauré String Trio Anniversary Concert
The Fauré String Trio celebrates its 10th anniversary with the world premiere of Playtime II composed and dedicated to the Trio by Aurelio Scotto, along with works by Beethoven and Reger.
Urban Garden Party - Soul Factory: Motown at the Museum
MF's annual fundraiser features soul and funk jams by The Gaff + DJ Zimmie, over 40 of Pittsburgh's best restaurants and caterers, Motown performances by Kierra Darshell's Divas of Drag, a silent auction of one-of-a-kind artwork and dancing. A VIP pre-party features an exclusive performance by Title Town Soul & Funk Party and signature cocktails. Penn Brewery hosts the official after-party.
Pixar in Concert
From Toy Story to The Incredibles and UP, Pixar has given audiences of all ages some of the most beloved characters in cinematic history. Now, for the first time ever, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra presents Pixar in Concert, with visually stunning clips and memorable scores, including their latest, Brave, performed live by the PSO. Pixar's 13 scores have been written by just four composers: Randy Newman, Michael Giacchino, Thomas Newman, and Patrick Doyle.
Kopit & Yeston's Phantom
By Tony Award-winners Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit, Phantom is based on Gaston Leroux's timeless love story of the disfigured musical genius known as the Phantom Erik, and his muse, Christine Daae, the exciting and beautiful ingenue of the Paris Opera. Their musical affair unfolds deep in the catacombs of the Opera house, where Erik finds salvation in Christine/s breathtaking voice. The score features "Home," "You Are My Own," and "My True Love."
Roads of Arabia
This landmark exhibition presents more than 7,000 years of largely unknown cultural history of the Arabian Peninsula. Roads of Arabia examines the impact of ancient trade routes carrying precious frankincense and myrrh to the Mesopotamian and Greco-Roman world and allowing for a vibrant exchange of both objects and ideas. With the later rise of Islam, pilgrimage roads converged on Mecca and gradually replaced the well-traveled incense roads.

Bring your chair and tap your feet to the music of the River City Brass Band surrounded by the history and gardens of Old Economy Village. Food and beverages for sale on site.
Local artists are cleaning out their studios to offer affordable art, equipment and art supplies. Items will include ceramics, photographs, jewelry, art books, fabric, unframed prints, glass pieces, and collectibles. There will be art activities for children. yART Sale prices range from 50 cents to 200 dollars, with mostly bargain-basement prices. Proceeds benefit Filmmakers and PCA.

"Intersection of Jazz and Classical Music" Festival & Competition
Explore the many ways jazz and classical music influence each other. In addition to competitions for high school and college pianists, teachers and students can participate in workshops, master classes, and panel discussions given by WVU Faculty and professionals from across the US. Special guests include Classical artist Ann Schein and Jazz artist Dan Haerle.
