He hires a nerdy journalist to teach her how to fit in, and what transpires is the stuff of Broadway and Hollywood legend.

Rope
By Patrick Hamilton, directed by Elmore James. For the mere sake of adventure, danger, and the "fun of the thing," Wyndham Brandon persuades his weak-minded friend, Charles Granillo, to assist him in the murder of a fellow undergraduate.
