PNME Concert 03
Kevin Noe conducts a program featuring guest soloist Timothy Jones, bass-baritone. The Anvil Chorus by David Lang, Quicksiler by Randall Woolf, Triple Crown by David Stock, Silence Must Be by Thierry de Mey, The Life of Birds by Mason Bates, Klingende Buchstaben by Alfred Schnittke, and Silences by Jeffrey Nytch.
Humor in Craft
Highly ironic, sarcastic and just plain amusing artworks by 32 artists. Everything can be made fun of and why not laugh at the human foibles, the banana-peel jokes and the politicians? Hardly any topic is off-limits for the artists in this exhibition.
Big Band Jazz Concert
In its 8th season, the North Suburban Symphonic Band is a classic "big band" performing arrangements from The Stan Kenton Orchestra, big band charts of well-known George Gershwin melodies, and music by Pittsburgh's own Ray DeFade, among others, with vocals by Tony Venneri and Jessie Wills.
Freya String Quartet
Beulah Presbyterian Church presents The Freya Quartet String Quartet a professional ensemble dedicated to a wide range of repertoire spanning from Vivaldi to Glass, and Cole Porter to Radiohead.
Cuban Music and Art Festival
Founder, captain, and conductor Robert Boudreau leads the AWSO in a free concert of Cuban music aboard the Point Counterpoint II, designed by architect Louis Kahn. Cuban art will be on display in the gallery below deck. The concert will feature Leo Brouwer's Cancion de Gesta, composed as a gift for the AWSO by Cuba's Leo Brouwer.

Justin Wallace, organist and assistant director of music at Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park, plays a 30 minute recital on Westminster's Austin organ.
La Belle Époque Cabaret (SOLD OUT)
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. An evening evoking a bawdy Parisian cabaret from La Belle Époque [The Beautiful Era]. The Pittsburgh Song Collaborative performs period French songs (translated or with subtitles) once sung by Yvette Guilbert, Aristide Bruant, and others. Emcee Rob Frankenberry weaves together musical selections, comedic monologues, and satirical skits. Projected images of artwork emphasize the role that café culture played for Impressionist artists. Performers include Benjamin Binder, piano; Rob Frankenberry, tenor and piano; Liza Forrester, mezzo-soprano; Joseph Gaines, tenor.

“The Legend of Zelda™: Symphony of the Goddesses” is the first ever video game themed concert to feature a complete 4 movement symphony, showcasing the work of Nintendo composer and sound director Koji Kondo.
