Knit the Bridge
Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh has organized Knit the Bridge, the largest yarn-bombing event in the US to date. With the assistance of dozens of local organizations and over 1,800 volunteers, they have covered the Andy Warhol Bridge (7th St.) in colorful panels to coincide with Fiberart International, a triennial show now at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and the Society for Contemporary Craft.

Three Rivers Storytelling Festival
This free two-day storytelling festival will feature national storytellers Beth Horner, Bil Lepp, and Randel McGee along with some of Western Pennsylvania’s best local tellers. There will be storytelling for all ages including adults, day and evening concerts, ghost stories, a Liar's Contest, workshops and a lunch for seniors

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Under the Stars
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre performs as part of the free Allegheny County Summer Concert Series. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for an evening featuring Mark Morris' "Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes" and Dwight Rhoden's "Step Touch."
