East Winds Symphonic Band
Based in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh, the East Winds Symphonic Band performs a variety of music arranged for concert band, including symphonies, marches and popular melodies. The band is composed of approximately 70 amateurs who share a common interest in performing this music. Free admission.

Bellini's Norma
Bellini's Norma, including the infamously difficult soprano aria "Casta Diva," is considered the apex of the bel canto operatic style. The titular high priestess is filled with treasonous desire for a Roman soldier, forcing her to choose between duty and love. The Mozart Effect
The Rainier Trio performs with guest clarinetist Alex Jones in a program exploring the impact of Mozart on chamber music. Opening with Mozart's Kegelstatt Trio and concluding with the lyrical Quartet, Op. 1 by Rabl, inspired and championed by Brahms. The program also includes playful suites by Milhaud and Sowash inspired by theatrical and botanical subjects. Free admission. Nursery care available.  Donations support Imagine No Malaria.
