Ping 101: The Final [Exam] Concert
CMU's virtuoso madrigal quintet, Ping, ends its inaugural season with music from their bucket list, with two premieres by Carnegie Mellon students Daniel Arnaldos and Andrew Dewey and works by Sondheim, Stephen Foster, Mister Rogers, and the most difficult madrigal ever written.

Comfort Zone
Marlon Youngblood's "Comfort Zone," featuring Tony Award nominee Anthony Chisholm and directed by Mark Whitehead, is about the aftermath of a shooting and how it impacts a community. "Comfort Zone" is based on the searing hit production from last year's Theatre Festival in Black & White.

The Devil's Arithmetic
In this adaptation of Jane Yolen's Newbery Award-winning novel, Hannah, a modern day teenager, has to celebrate yet another Jewish holiday with her family – but this year will be different. Little does she know her world is about change. She is mysteriously transported back to the Holocaust. Festival of Bach
Pittsburgh Music Alliance members (The Bach Choir of Pittsburgh, Chatham Baroque, Pittsburgh Camerata, Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society, and Renaissance & Baroque) will represent the breadth of Bach’s works across 12 hours, in performances including Bach's Chaconne for violin, a variety of motets, three violin concertos as well as the concerto for violin and oboe, the quadruple and triple harpsichord concertos, and concluding with the grand “Magnificat” performed jointly by all five organizations. Free admission. Donations encouraged.
