SiO2: High School Reunion
A first-time exhibition featuring the artwork of 12 alumni of PGC's SiO2 High School program, from the more than 500 students enrolled since 2002. Many continue to focus on glass as their primary medium, and this show highlights work by some of PGC's best young artists.

The Nicholas Feast in Johnstown
The Band of Brothers theater company tells the story of the real-life Saint Nicholas, while patrons dine on a traditional German holiday meal catered by Asiago's Restaurant. Adding to the entertainment is the choir of St. Paul United Church of Christ, of Somerset, directed by Bryan Lohr, in a program of period carols and songs. Honeck and the Tallis Scholars
The Tallis Scholars, one of the world's leading Renaissance vocal ensembles, celebrates their 40th anniversary this year. They'll sing a cappella on the first half, including Allegri's famous Miserere and works by Victoria and Bruckner. Bruckner's Symphony #4 "Romantic" has a detailed program about a medieval castle, knights on horseback, the beauty of Nature, and a hunt.

Handel's Messiah
The world's most beloved oratorio is performed complete by Chatham Baroque, the Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble and the Calvary Choirs directed by Alan Lewis, with vocal soloists Kathy Linger, Susan Shafer, Guy Russo, and Robert Allen Kurth.

A Musical Christmas Carol
Pittsburgh CLO's A Musical Christmas Carol features the classic Charles Dickens tale set to favorite yuletide melodies. It stars Tom Atkins as Scrooge, Patrick Cannon as Young Scrooge, and Jeff Howell as Cratchit. The show runs Friday-Sunday and is for all ages.

Light the Night
Urban Impact and the Allegheny Center Alliance Church present a free concert and Christmas celebration featuring several performing groups, student choirs,and the Christmas story.

The Nutcracker
With a cast of nearly 50 students, Karen Prunzik's Broadway Dance Studio presents "The Nutcracker" -- the familiar Holiday tradition of Clara's Christmas Eve adventure. From the mysterious Drosselmeyer to the mischevious Fritz, to the amazement of a growing Christmas Tree, Snowflakes who pirouette, and Flowers that Waltz, and a Prince who is every girl's dream.

Sounds of the Season
Ring in the season with the 100-voice chorale presenting holiday classics, traditional Christmas carols and popular favorites with Music Director Susan Medley and organist David Billings.

The Nutcracker
The Nutcracker illuminates the stage with more than 150 performers, hundreds of costumes and choreography that displays the versatility of PBT dancers like no other production. With more than 20 unique casting combinations and 100 exuberant characters, this timeless holiday tradition delights dancers and audiences alike.

Holiday Pops
Join the Philharmonic in celebrating the most wonderful time of the year with your winter favorites. Whether wassailing or not, this concert will have you singing holiday carols and ballads throughout the season.

Symphonette Winter Concert
Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras' 40-member Symphonette Conductor and conductor Andrew Wickesberg perform Symphony No. 1 in C minor by Felix Mendelssohn, Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel and Rhythmic Variations on Two Ancient Hymns by Howard Hanson.

Belle Voci a Natale
Craig Cannon directs his Belle Voci women's chorus to welcome the Christmas season with Benjamin Britten's "A Ceremony of Carols" and other pieces celebrating the holidays. Guest artists include Lucy Scandrett, harp; Gail Henry, organ; and Duquesne University's "Voices of Spirit."

Home for the Holidays
A holiday program including Irving Berlin's White Christmas, George Whitefield Chadwick's Noel, Victor Herbert's March of the Toys, Rock of Ages arranged by Molly May and selections from Messiah and other Holiday Favorites with the Renaissance City Choirs.

It Was All Shining: A Camerata Christmas
Artistic Director of The Pittsburgh Camerata since 1998, Rebecca Rollett has always loved programming the Christmas concert. Flutist Josie Kost and oboist Lenny Young again join the celebration creating musical links between the choral selections.

Piffaro - Drive the Cold Away
Piffaro's performs songs and dances that celebrate the various traditions of the season, from hymns and chorale settings for Advent by Michael Praetorius to delightful Sephardic tunes for Hannukah, from English songs and ballads to lively dances and popular tunes from across the continent, all set to Piffaro's wonderful array of shawms, sackbuts, dulcians, recorders, bagpipes, lute and harp. The incomparable soprano Laura Heimes joins Piffaro for this program of seasonal delights.

Diane Schuur
Grammy-winning vocalist & pianist Diane Schuur inspires rave reviews across the globe, and swings with heartfelt intensity. Long regarded – and sometimes criticized – as an artist who has walked a tightrope between jazz and pop, Schuur sees her latest release, Some Other Time, as an unwavering statement about her commitment to the jazz tradition.

Messiah Sing-Along
You're invited to sing along on five beloved choruses in a family-friendly concert of Handel's "Messiah" with soloists Anna Singer, Mary Beth Sederburg, Christopher Quigley, and Matthew Hunt and the Calvary Festival Choir & Chamber Orchestra conducted by Paul Campbell. Non-perishable food items for the Northside Common Ministries pantry are requested.
