Works of Britten, Elgar, and Neruda
Erin Yanacek solos in Johann Neruda's Trumpet Concerto. The ensemble also plays Edward Elgar's Serenade for Strings and Benjamin Britten's Simple Symphony. Edward Leonard and Marice Staton conduct. Free, donations welcome.

Celebrate the season with carols and much-loved holiday music, including "Sleigh Ride" and selections from The Nutcracker. This multitude of holiday treats conducted by Daniel Meyer features vocalist Rachel DeShon, winner of Marvin Hamlisch's Search for a Star competition, and the return of singing detective Ricky Manning.

Christmas in 1862
Let yourself be taken back to a simpler time as The Pittsburgh Historical Society Orchestra and the ACFL&MH present a recreation of a parlor concert from Christmas in 1862. Musicians will be dressed in costume and will play instruments of the period. Free admission.
