Mercy Train
Microscopic Opera stages the world premiere of Mercy Train by Pittsburgh's Douglas Levine (music) and Julie Tosh (libretto). Orphan trains — often called mercy trains — transported New York's homeless children to adopted homes in the Midwest from 1853 until the late 1920's.
