The most shocking rock band ever. Literally. ArcAttack, a four-man performance group, plays classic hits with homemade, high-tech instruments, as well as more traditional instruments such as guitar and bass. ArcAttack is best known for its breakout appearance on America's Got Talent, where the group shocked everyone by using Tesla coils to perform a collection of rock songs.

String Quartet ETHEL
This program's centerpieces are ETHEL's own adaptation of Ennio Morricone's moving score to the 1986 film, The Mission, and quartet treatments of Jeff Buckley's Grace - his glorious, and tragically, only, completed studio album. Celtic Connections

How I Learned What I Learned
Two years before his death, August Wilson wrote and performed this one-man play about the power of art and the power of possibility. Recently produced at New York's Signature Theatre and directed by Todd Kreidler, Wilson's friend and protege, How I Learned explores his days as a struggling young writer in Pittsburgh's Hill District and how the neighborhood and its people inspired his amazing cycle of plays about the African-American experience.
