Dennis Ross
Ross has played a leading role in shaping U.S. involvement in the Middle East peace process as the point man for Presidents George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton. With a specialty in Soviet and Middle East policy, he has served as a diplomat under four U.S. Presidents. Ross has authored several books and is now a Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

Christmas Brasstacular
Get in the holiday spirit with River City Brass's own special brand of humor and fun. James Gourlay conducts fan-favorite festive music and performs with choirs and bands from area middle and high schools.

Starring Pittsburgh’s own Tom Atkins, A Musical Christmas Carol is CLO's annual family holiday show with with dazzling special effects, holiday charm and the magic of the season.

Coronation Mass, Unfinished Symphony & Emperor Concerto
Mozart's Coronation Mass, Schubert's Unfinished Symphony and Beethoven's Emperor Concerto were nicknamed (not by their composers) to suit the character of the works. Pianist Yulianna Avdeeva is featured in Beethoven's final "Emperor" concerto. The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and a quartet of vocal soloists join Manfred Honeck in Mozart's Mass in C major, "Coronation."

Music for Exhibitions: A Little Salon Music
Music for Exhibitions: A Little Salon Music" is a program of musical selections, performed by Tuesday Musical Club members, in correlation with the current exhibit in the Frick gallery.

Holiday Traditions

Handel's Messiah
Handel's oratorio, Messiah, returns to Heinz Hall for one night only with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, guest vocal soloists, and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh led by Music Director Manfred Honeck.
